The Challenge
Uber needed a comprehensive AV installation partner capable of deploying a consistent, enterprise-grade AV experience across a large multi-floor office campus — from small four-person huddle rooms to executive boardrooms and large all-hands spaces. The system needed to support Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams, and direct HDMI presentations from any seat, with centralized room management and monitoring.
Timelines were aggressive, coordination with the general contractor was essential, and post-installation support needed to be minimal — Uber’s IT team required a “set it and forget it” reliability standard.
Our Solution
CitiView designed a tiered AV package scaled to each room type: small rooms received a 65″ display with integrated soundbar and Zoom Room appliance; medium rooms got a dual-display setup with ceiling mic arrays and dedicated audio processing; large boardrooms and executive suites received full LED display walls with Crestron room control, motorized shades coordination, and in-ceiling distributed audio.
All rooms were networked through a centralized Crestron control system allowing IT to monitor room status, push firmware updates, and troubleshoot remotely. Cable management was fully concealed — no visible runs, no surface-mounted hardware.
